Course Description
At Stone Healthcare Academy, we offer flexible program options to fit your schedule and goals. For example, you can choose between our two-week fast-track program or our five-week evening and weekend course, which is perfect for working professionals.
Our fast-track program is a convenient and efficient way to start your healthcare career! This 2-week program runs Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a new class starting every two weeks.
Students complete a total of 75 hours of training, including 30 hours of classroom instruction, 15 hours of hands-on skills training in our practice labs, and 30 hours at a long term care facility, providing real-world experience to prepare you for success.
Our evening/weekend course is a 5-week CNA program designed specifically for working professionals who need a more flexible schedule. Below is the class schedule for February/March.

Student Requirements
75-hour Basic Certified Nurse Aide (CNA):
Charcoal/Pewter Gray scrubs (top and bottoms).
Shoes must be closed-toe and heel and a neutral color.
Gait Belt. Available for purchase in our office for $15 or you may purchase from an outside supplier.
TB (2-step) skin test within the past 12 months. Available through your healthcare provider. If you do not have a primary healthcare provider, let us know and we can provide recommendations.
QuantiFERON GOLD or T-Spot TB test is also accepted (must be done at a doctor's office and within the last 12 months) OR
A copy of a chest x-ray with results from your doctor is accepted.
Watch with a second hand.
Tuition and Fees
75-hour Basic CNA $750
The course price includes tuition, the textbook, and the required background check, which must be completed before starting clinicals.
Students are responsible for providing their own scrubs, a watch with a second hand, and a gait belt. Additionally, TB testing must be completed prior to beginning the clinical portion of the class.
